VISITOR CENTER
The New Castle Visitor Center at the Arsenal provides information, tickets, a museum store and restrooms. The Visitor Center is also home to lectures, workshops and other public programs.
Winter Hours
Saturday: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
Sunday: 11:30 am to 4:30 pm

MUSEUMS & GARDENS
The Amstel House, Dutch House and Old Library museums are currently closed for the season. Group tours are still available by appointment.
The Amstel House & Dutch House will re-open April 1. 2023. The Old Library will open in late spring.
Our historic gardens are currently open daily dawn to dusk.
PRIVATE EVENTS
The Arsenal is available for meetings and private events. Our historic gardens are available for professional photography and wedding ceremonies.

In honor of Valentine's Day we'll explore romantic stories of New Castle, make your own Valentine, & learn the vocabulary of love before composing your own 18th century "locked" love letter. Light snack and beverage included. Ages 21+ only.

John Barry, An American Hero
Naval historian Tim McGrath hosts a presentation on John Barry, the Irish-born naval officer regarded as the "Father of the American Navy."
