"A Dickens Experience" in Old New Castle

A Dickens Experience A Dickens Experience will transport visitors back to mid-nineteenth century England to experience an interactive version of Charles Dickens' classic novella, A Christmas Carol. The festivities will feature street theater, bell ringing, carolers, and more.

The Spirit of Christmas
Spirit of ChristmasSaturday, December 13, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. - Rain or Shine

This town-wide celebration, sponsored by the New Castle Presbyterian Church, presents private homes and churches decorated for the season, and musical events throughout the day. Programs for the day are available at the NC Presbyterian Church, 25 E. 2nd Street. For more information, call the church at 302-328-3279 or visit their website at newcastlepreschurch.org/spirit.

The Amstel House and Dutch Houses will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to visitors during The Spirit of Christmas .
